Hi, my name is Paloma Nadine Melendez Cardona  

I'm an Art Teacher at Dallas ISD currently I teach at  Herbert Marcus Elementary. I went to a specialized Art High School in Puerto Rico La Escuela Central Artes Visuales, and I continued my art education at Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico ending with a  B.A. in Fine Arts Education.
Tropical Cactus offers art + sewing classes for kids in between 5-15 years old.
Teaching skills such as critical thinking, innovation, and visual literacy, the classes help children learn to solve problems creatively, find new ways of expression and become designers of their worlds.
The creative experiences are located at Farmers Branch Community Recreation Center.

Iā€™m a mother of two, Chloe (10 years old) + Enzo (4 years old) and Art Teacher at Dallas ISD, currently I teach at Herbert Marcus Elementary. Tropical Cactus (tropical teacher in Texas) offers art + sewing classes for kids in between 5-15 years old at the Farmers Branch Community Recreation Center.
